Hawzah News Agency- on the occasion of World Quds Day, a protest march and demonstration was held all over Pakistan, in which a large number of people participated.

Hujjat al-Islam Arif Hussain Wahedi, the vice-chairman of the Shia Ulema Council of Pakistan, said in a rally in Rawalpindi,” Muslims are united and stand for Palestine. Now it is the duty of the rulers of Islamic countries to take practical steps for the oppressed people of Gaza.”

While condemning the establishment of relations with Israel by some Islamic countries, he added,” Some Islamic countries are trying to promote their diplomatic ties with usurpers and child killer’s Israeli regime, and they are also silent about the crimes which are taking place in Gaza. Such behaviors should be considered for them to think about in their actions.

Hujjat al-Islam Arif Hossein Wahedi further noted,” The innocent blood of Palestinians will not go in vain and Israel will disappear. Also, the first qibla of free Muslims and peace will prevail in the world.”

Al-Quds Day (or, simply, “Quds Day”) is an annual, international day to express support for Palestine and oppose the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories. Large rallies are held, usually beginning after the communal Friday prayers.
